We are thrilled to announce that Lombard Veterinary Hospital has been honored with the Volunteer of the Year award from the DuPage Senior Citizens Council for our Pet Food & Assistance Program. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to supporting pet owners in need and making a positive impact in our community.
Since 2018, we have raised close to 4,722 pounds of pet food and kitty litter for D.P.S.C.C's Pet Food & Assistance Program. This initiative has been instrumental in providing essential support to families facing financial difficulties, ensuring that their beloved pets receive the care and nutrition they deserve.
One of our most cherished traditions is our Annual Giving with a Thankful Heart Pet Food Drive, held during the holiday season. This event brings together our community in a spirit of generosity, helping to ensure that no pet goes hungry during this special time of year.
Receiving the Volunteer of the Year award is a humbling experience, and we are incredibly grateful for the recognition. It inspires us to continue our mission of providing quality care and support to both animals and their human companions. Thank you to the DuPage Senior Citizens Council for this honor, and to our community for their ongoing support. Together, we are making a difference, one paw at a time.
