Meet Our Team
Grace Ludwig, Doctor of Physical Therapist, Certified Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapist
Grace is an energetic and dedicated physical therapist with lifelong experience in the veterinary industry. As Dr. Georgie Ludwig’s daughter, she has worked at Lombard Veterinary Hospital in many different facets including in the kennel, as her mom’s doctor assistant, and most extensively as a receptionist. Grace earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University’s Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Program and worked in Neurologic and Orthopedic physical therapy settings before transitioning to animal rehabilitation.
She recently completed a 142-hour Postgraduate Certification in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy (CVMRT) where she gained knowledge in applying physical rehabilitation to animals. Grace is excited to give back to the Lombard community by creating a multidisciplinary, multimodal, and evidence-based rehabilitation department at LVH, blending her human rehabilitation expertise with her passion for movement as the ultimate source for healing.
Grace loves adventurous endeavors and keeping connected with her community through teaching dance and yoga as well as climbing outdoors. She's also the proud emotional support human for her golden retriever, Liko, her first rehabilitation success story. Since starting rehab, Liko has lost significant weight and is moving better than ever! Grace is ready to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm for movement to the field of animal rehabilitation, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all creatures through innovative rehabilitation programs and services.
Elizabeth Lipinski Certified Nutrition Case Manager, Rehabilitation Assistant
Elizabeth started her career at Lombard Veterinary Hospital as a kennel attendant, where her dedication and passion propelled her through roles as a client service representative, doctor's assistant, and occasional outpatient technician. She is now excited to focus on delivering exceptional nutritional services to enhance the health and well-being of the hospital's patients.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree in Science with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and has further specialized through the Nutrition Case Management Program at the University of Tennessee Veterinary Academy of Higher Learning.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dogs, Howie and Bo. She remains active through workout classes, dog training, and experimenting with new recipes. Her commitment to continuous learning drives her to regularly pursue new courses, enriching both her personal and professional growth.
Jamie Jones, Certified Groomer, Rehabilitation Assistant
With over 12 years of grooming experience, Jamie brings a deep understanding of animal behavior and a passion for animal welfare to her role at Lombard Veterinary Hospital. She focuses her grooming services with senior pets, pets with medical conditions, and those who are fearful in typical grooming environments. Jamie also works in the boarding department and is excited to implement more enrichment activities for pets through the Pawsitively Fit Boarding Club.
When not working Jamie loves spending time with her two boys, two dogs, and her cat. They can often be found hiking and exploring the outdoors. Recently Jamie has taken up mountain biking and is always trying to find new and challenging trails to ride on
