Empowering the Human-Animal Connection Through Paws-itive Movement

Our Animal Rehabilitation Department is developed and led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Postgraduate Certification in Animal Rehabilitation and extensive experience working in the veterinary industry, ensuring the highest standards of care for your pet. This comprehensive approach integrates advanced therapeutic modalities with hands-on manual interventions designed to reduce pain, restore function, and enhance overall well-being.

What makes us unique is our in-person collaboration with onsite veterinary doctors. This allows for seamless communication and coordination of care, including immediate referrals for rehabilitation ensuring your pet’s care is both comprehensive and personalized. Together, we address a wide range of conditions, from orthopedic and neurologic issues to soft tissue injuries and weight management.

Most importantly, we want to empower you with the knowledge and tools to support your pet throughout their recovery journey. We continually seek new ways to help pets live longer, healthier, and more active lives because we believe every pet deserves the best opportunity to thrive.

In alignment with the AVMA principle One Health, which recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, we emphasize a holistic approach to care that benefits not just pets but also the wider community.

The Power of Rehabilitation: Enhancing Health and Vitality for Animals

Rehabilitation plays a transformative role in improving an animal’s quality of life by restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall health. Through customized care, rehabilitation offers numerous benefits:

  • Prevention of Complications: Early rehab prevents issues like joint stiffness, muscle atrophy, and mobility limitations from progressing, helping pets maintain better overall function.
  • Pain and Inflammation Management: Techniques such as massage, laser therapy, and therapeutic exercises alleviate discomfort and reduce inflammation, minimizing the need for heavy medication.
  • Promotion of Mobility and Independence: By building strength and flexibility, rehabilitation enables animals to move more freely, enhancing their daily activities and overall joy.
  • Support for Long-term Health: Rehab supports chronic condition management, accelerates post-surgical recovery, and proactively prevents future health concerns, setting pets on a path to sustained wellness.
