Dr. Don Ernat

Dr. Ernat has worked in small animal practices for over 37 years and at LVH since 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985, both from the University of Illinois. He has a special interest in internal medicine/endocrinology, as well as dermatology. Dr. Ernat grew up in the LaSalle-Peru area and has lived in Lombard for over 30 years. He and his wife have four children, two grandchildren, a guinea pig, and many tropical fish. When he is not caring for animals, he is active in Scouting and enjoys hiking, astronomy, geocaching, and bird watching. He is also an avid reader and enjoys making fudge.
