Dr. Sarah Gay

Dr. Gay is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan which developed her love for any University of Michigan athletics (Go blue!). She has two cats, Finn and Mo, and one rescue pittie named Rory. She met her husband while they were in high school and had a small backyard Covid wedding in 2020. They love exploring with their dog Rory, trying new restaurants, and a good movie night. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, playing tennis, and cross stitch. She chose to work in the veterinary industry because she has a passion and love for the human-animal bond. Dr. Gay has experienced first hand and observed the many ways that our lives can be enriched through the love of a pet. With her passion for science, love for animals, and extroverted nature, becoming a veterinarian seems like a obvious choice. She loves working with owners and a veterinary team to help and protect our treasured pets. She is excited to be working at Lombard Veterinary Hospital because of the enthusiastic staff, knowledgeable doctors, and kind clients. Lombard Veterinary Hospital has a long history of commitment and love for its community and its clients, she is excited to be joining the team. She has a passion for preventive and behavioral medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology.
