Dr. Karolina Korput

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Korput officially started her journey at Lombard Veterinary Hospital as a high school intern in 2013. She loved LVH so much that she started working here as a veterinary assistant! She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where her extracurriculars included research with one of her professors, interning at the local humane society, and participating in various school clubs. Dr. Korput continued her education and ultimately graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and joined our team as a doctor in the Spring of 2023. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, going out with friends and family, traveling to new places, and playing video games/board games. Dr. Korput has four cats and one dog, all of which were adopted from shelters, LVH, or rescued from outdoors. Dr. Korput's favorite part of being on the LVH team is getting to know every one of the pets and their owners - she loves hearing the stories and seeing the companionship throughout the hospital.
